I did not see you close your eyes I did not see you die
all I knew was that you were gone without a last goodbye
it was a sudden parting to bitter to forget we loved you dearly and its very hard to forget,, it does not take a special day for us to remember you,,,Each mass and each pray is offered up to you Gone from us three years today and it seems like it was yesterday we lost Edward then you in such a little space of time,,, no time to mourn him i remember how grey your face was when they brought edwards coffin into the house,,how you tried to put on a brave face the whole morning in and out waiting for him to arrive,,then you carried Edward down the village my heart went out to you your youngest son was dead and we were going to his final resting place i knew your heart was broken,, it was raining remember dad,,it poured down then as we lowerd Eward in to his grave all of a sudden the skys turned an amazeing blue and the sun came out i didnt wana leave him there Edward hated the cold and thats all i could think about him being cold,,,you looked so old that day even though you were always running around doing things for every one sometimes i think you even forgot you werent a young man anymore then all to soon we were mourning you,its so hard here without yous both,you know dad i can sit here and say all the things that people write when they lose someone but theres no point becaues you know by watching us from above how loseing you and Edward has affected all of us nothing will ever be the same again for any of us ,,,so much pain to carry with us for we will never forget yous watch over us Dad and keep us strong untill we meet again love you your daughter lisa xx
